Limited Capacity filling up

To register you must have take Positive Behavior Support and Working with Traumatized Youth.

This workshop is designed to think about challenging behaviors that our students experience and how we can best support them. We ground ourselves in the importance of empathy in our work and understand how behavior is a tool for communication. You will be challenged to take your learning from Positive Behavior Support and to be reflective on your approaches to behaviors and how they are responsive to the needs of youth in the moment with the goal of continually increasing youth competency and fostering success. Additionally, we will delve into the impact of trauma, building on the foundation laid in the previous training, Working with Traumatized Youth. We will discuss the pervasive role trauma plays in our students development and in their lives, as well as in our classrooms.
