Telesha Mervin is a passionate community advocator and activist for all youth and families. She was born in South Carolina, raised in Boston, and for the last 22 years has resided in Cambridge, Mass. Telesha has 20 + years of professional work with a focus on serving youth and families. Her expertise ranges from education to mental health, juvenile justice, foster care, and community advocacy. Telesha is a founding member of the Women of Action Program out of the Women's Center in Cambridge. She is a former board member of the Community Art Center of Cambridge, currently serves on the Tenant Association, Margaret Fuller House, Compass Working Capital, A Motherless child Inc. and continues to serve on multiple committees throughout Massachusetts. Telesha is a proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts Boston with a degree in Social Work. She now enrolled at Cambridge College The School of Management offers graduate programs that develop managerial skills in pursuit of a NonProfit & Public Management Certificate.
